Synopsis:
Hallie Takahama is shown running into a forest. At the Thunderbolts new base, they receive live feed of the Black Widow facing the Masters of Evil. Recognizing them as impostors, the T-Bolts set off to intervene: as they arrive, so does the leader of the Masters, who makes them disappear in a flash. Then Black Widow blames the Bolts for messing with her plan and leaves.
Days later, as Mach-1 and Songbird talk over their situation, Citizen orders Techno to prepare for intervention: the T-Bolts then burst a smuggling and get to fight the new Masters of Evil. When the fray comes to a draw, the Masters leave again, the whole scene having been witnessed by the Widow. A further surprise awaits the Thunderbolts when they return home.
