Cloak and Dagger

A starship has gone missing, and Pike is sent to find it. The trail leads to a "lost" Vulcan colony. These Vulcans are descended from a splinter group who left Vulcan centuries before, at the time of Surak. Like the Romulans, they disagreed with Surak's emphasis on logic, and so retained their warrior ways in this small Vulcan society of their own. They, it turns out, have captured Pike's missing starship, the Cortez, and are now intent on using it against Enterprise.
