Synopsis:
In a retelling of the pilot for the original series, newly assigned Yeoman Mia Colt relates the events of "The Cage" in first person. Along the way, she reveals that the experience not only changed her outlook on life, but that of Captain Pike, who was considering resigning his commission after the senseless loss of his last Yeoman, Cusack, in the previous mission.
