Synopsis:
In a tale of Times Past, Shade recounts the first encounter of Starman (I) and The Mist. Opal City is under seige by a crimewave from the Mist. Mysteriously, he doesn't kill anyone except for one man who attempted to take advantage of an unconscious woman and everyone who had drunk brandy. The fledgling Starman was called in on the case, which he slowly put together until he put together the pieces, ultimately discovering that the Mist was hired by an artist in town who had a grudge.
