Notes:
FOOTNOTE IN MARVEL HISTORY: In the letter's column, Sgt. Michael L. Kuhne from Keesler AFB, Miss. addresses the issue of naming Reed and Sue's baby. Kuhne asks, recalling Sue and Johnny's father's heroic sacrificial deed in FF #32, "why not name the baby 'Franklin' after Dr. Franklin Storm?" Stan replies, "Franklin Richards... Franklin Richards... you're right, sarge; it does have a kind of distinguished ring about it."

A full-page house ad boasts (1) cover repros of MARVEL SUPER-HEROES #20 starring Doctor Doom, and of MARVEL TALES #20, and (2) an illustrated ad for "Marvel's Swingin' Inflatable Plastic Pillows!" On the facing page is a comic strip ad for Lee jeans titled "Jim Driscoll in The Race to Danger."
