Volstaggt tells him Hogun and Fandral are both dead and he couldnt even find teh remains of Sif. On another note he is also skinny. Thor hands him one of Uru hammer's forged by Surtur.

He tells Volstagg he took it from teh corpse of Geirroodur, King of Trolls whom Thor killed for allying with Loki.

As they travel deeper into Asgard Thor discovers that harokin is dead and he died sacrificing himself tod efeat Hrimnerr, the flame. Thor is aware Loki's list of allies is growing.

Thor and Volstagg lead the army across the wasteland where tehy discover the bones of Kurse who fell defending Asgard's orphans followed shortly by Thor's brother Vidar who's fuields were burnt as a memorial.

Eventually they reached the site of a large battle at Vanaheim, present was Fenris who had doubled in size.

Thor and his warriors join teh Fray but unfortunately Valkyrie is soon shot down and Volstagg proclaims her dead.

Thor is shocked t learn Sif is alive but missing an arm. She still manages to hold her own against Durok the Demolisher but he soon turns his attention to Thor who suddenly realises his full potential and calls down a large lightning strike without help from Mjolnir. This exhausts him but kills Durok, suddenly Fenris breaks free of his chains and there is nobody in any condition to beat him, suddenly Beta Ray Bill appears out of Thin air and defeats the beast.
