Synopsis:
At the end of last issue, El Tigre has been transformed into Kukulcan, "Mightiest of the Ancient Mayan Gods". After defeating the X-Men in the museum Kukulcan is able to use the powers of the now complete amulet to travel back to San Rico.
Meanwhile Jean meets up with Cal Rankin, previously the Mimic, at her new school. He finds her familiar but the Professor's memory block is still in place.
The X-Men regroup at the mansion where Jean arrives with some books for Professor X. These lead him to San Rico as Kukulcan's destination.
Using the Solar Stone to power his amulet, Kukulcan mentally commands all the Mayan descendants to come to him. Taking control of them he begins to use them as labourers and to build an army.
The X-Men finally arrive at San Rico, after many misadventures, and manage to scare Kukulcan's guards away. However, Kukulcan is able to defend himself against the X-Men thanks to the incredible power he is receiving from the Solar Stone.
Bobby covers the Solar Stone in ice, stopping it from receiving power from the sun while the others drain Kukulcan's powers. In trying to stop Bobby's attack on the Solar Stone, Kukulcan upsets the Stone's perch and it falls into a crevase, never to be seen again!
With the destruction Kukulcan transforms back into El Tigre and is captured by the X-Men.
