Green Lantern Kyle Rayner is teleported from his apartment. His captors realize Kyle is not the Green Lantern they wanted.

Later, a robot rises from the sea with Kyle in its palm. While fighting the robot, Superman steadily loses each of his superpowers. The assailants reveal themselves as Psi-phon and Dreadnaught.

Kyle creates a robot of green energy for Superman to operate. Defeated, the two villains are forced to return Superman's powers.
