Synopsis:
The team tries to cope with the loss of Arani, although they were not close. Scott reveals to Rhea that he's dying of leukemia, but decides to go into battle, anyway. Negatvie Woman finds herself cornered by Garguax's women, and instead of returning to her, returns to Larry Trainor, who has been pinned in a helicopter accident. The Chief finishes Garguax with the only working prototype of SDI, and his women abandon him and their quarrel with the Doom Patrol. The effects of the Invasion interrupt Arani's funeral.

Donnie Matthews has a letter guessing that Arani's only claim on Niles Caulder is a childhood infatuation. He is acknowledged as the first person to guess this correctly.
