Dragon and Smasher join forces with Super-Tough (Mace's former partner) who, along with his arch-enemy Darklord, were sent to a paralell Earth after the explosion of the nega-bomb that burned Mace's face. It is also revealed that She-Dragon's multiple personalities are actually separate entities trapped in this same universe. Rapture is murdered by Darklord, and all are able to escape to their native Earth save for Darklord (who dies en route), Smasher and Dragon, who are trapped on the crumbling alternate Earth.
