Skrulls (Marvel)

Synopsis:
The fantastic Four are visited at the Baxter Building by a Skrull female (unnamed, possibly royalty) begging the Four for help against a Kree attack on her science expedition party. Without Commander Solbrodd's permission, she stole an escape pod to ask the Earthlings for help. She warns them that they will be no match for the high-tech defenses of the Kree ship, but the FF feel honor bound to help when asked. When the FF arrive, a somewhat ignored Invisible Girl proves to be the difference in helping free the captured Skrulls and turning back the pink Kree attackers and their Sentry. Despite the aid, Solbrodd would have turned on the FF, but the Skrull female convinced him that they deserve their respect and freedom to return home.

Notes:
"Solbrodd" seems to be a nod to former longtime Marvel employee Sol Brodsky. The Skrull female does not show the typical Skrull chin shape. Pink Kree generally do not command warships, deemed as the "inferior" race among the Kree.

Synopsis:
While working on a communicator console at the Baxter Building, the FF receive an urgent call from Gen. Thunderbolt Ross warning them that the space shuttle currently in orbit is on a collision course with an unknown object despite attempts to avoid its path. The unknown object is a spacecraft designed by Ivan Kragoff (the Red Ghost) whom the USSR left trapped in space. Kragoff is attempting to take command of the shuttle and return to Earth. The FF board Kragoff's ship and, with the help of the communicator, managed to jam Kragoff's control of his super apes, which gives the shuttle enough time to avoid the Russian spacecraft and touchdown in Houston. Not to seem to hard on their enemy, they also allowed Kragoff and his apes to return to Russia under less than hospitable conditions for their "greatest scientific mind".

Notes:
Kragoff states that this Russian spacecraft is the spacecraft used to fly into the cosmic rays that empowered him and his super apes, and that he had been trapped in orbit ever since due to faulty heat shielding destroying the re-entry mechanism.
