Lissik attacks Nik Mayak, who becomes the superhero Nightblade, able to regenerate severed limbs. He also discovers that he has increased agility and accuracy.
Hal Jordan returns to Coast City fearing for Carol Ferris's safety during the alien attacks. He meets Nightblade and together they search for Lissik.
Hal realizes that since Lissik attacked some of Carol's friends, then the alien must know to find Carol at Ferris Aircraft. The heroes confront the alien there. During their battle, Lissik escapes.
This annual is part of the "Bloodlines" storyline.
