Synopsis:
This 44-page comic contains reprints of the first DENNY O'NEIL and NEAL ADAMS collaboration from DETECTIVE COMICS #395 (January 1970) and the first MANHUNTER story by ARCHIE GOODWIN and WALT SIMONSON, which originally appeared as a back-up feature in DETECTIVE COMICS #437 (November 1973).
Notes:
This issue boasts two DC Profiles: 30 (CARY BURKETT) and 38 (STEVE MITCHELL), as well as a half-page installment of The DC Answer Man by BOB ROZAKIS. There is also a full-page DC Publishorial by JENETTE KAHN titled "Onward and Upward" that addresses the increased cover price.
This issue contains a full-page MANHUNTER pin-up by WALT SIMONSON dated 9-8-73.
This was the sole issue of this series to see print because of the "DC Implosion" that led to the abrupt cancellation of numerous titles.
