Synopsis: Swamp Thing is transported to Rann by the Zeta Beam, where representatives from Thanagar are attempting to provide aid to drought-stricken Rann in exchange for information about the Beam.
Synopsis: Swamp Thing attempts to use his connection to The Green to try to restore Rann's vegetation, but the Thanagarians, who mock Adam Strange as simply a breeder for a dying world, needed only for his seed, attack him so that the Rannians will still have a need to supply them with information about the Zeta Beam, but are met with defeat. Alanna learns that she is pregnant.
Synopsis: Anton Arcane's head is tormented in Hell as his brother, Gregori, the Patchwork Man, seeks his daughter, now working in a retirement home. Abby catches a thief among her coworkers. Chester Williams calls her with news of a monster's presence in Texas and takes her there. Abby and her father meet briefly, but he is torn apart by hailstones. They are, however, unable to find his head.
Synopsis: On route to Minraud, where Adam Strange advised him to go in issue #58, Swamp Thing is intercepted by a cybernetic spaceship being, who forces him to father her offspring. The issue is entirely narrated, in poetic waxing, by this being, who assures her offspring that its father would have loved her had she not ripped out his vitals and discarded a husk.
Synopsis: Swamp Thing arrives on J586, not realizing that all plant life is sentient, he builds his humanoid form from a mass of people's bodies, and since the majority feel a panic, he goes on a rampage. Medphyll, this world's Green Lantern, releases the people one by one, then allows Swamp Thing to possess the body of his recently deceased master to learn of a cure. In an epilogue, Adam Strange gives Abby Swamp Thing's message, but she writes him off as a kook, and Chester as a fellow psychotropic drug user.
Synopsis: Metron of the New Gods is researching the Source Wall. When his Mobius chair runs out of energy, he happens upon Swamp Thing, who quickly spawns himself a new yellow body. At the urging of a Mother Box, Swamp Thing forms himself into a chair for Metron, and they journey into the Source itself (they believe). Metron is able to provide Darkseid with valuable information.
Synopsis: Swamp Thing gets revenge on his killers, but ignores Lex Luthor. Abby visits Matt in the hospital, but can't feel anything. Chester and Liz meet. Swamp Thing reunites with Abby.
Synopsis: Swamp Thing has returned home to Abby in the Louisiana bayou. He tells her about his long, strange journey through space. He contemplates his future and what he has the potential to do for Earth. Swamp Thing builds a home for himself and Abby in the heart of the swamp. They are going to spend some time alone.
