Into the Negative Zone
Letters Column: Avengers Assemble!
There is an invisible barrier in the middle of NYC. Nothing can get through it, and it is growing. Vision gets past it, then fall unconscious. Thor's hammer gets through it, but doesn't come back to him, so Thor must run away as he turns into Dr Don Blake. The source of the force field is the Baxter Building. Annihilus is there. He is dying, and has created the force field to expand, ultimately destroying the universe. The Fantastic Four are trapped in the Negative Zone. Starfox is able to figure out what Annihilus is up to, and tells the other Avengers. They devise a plan were Captain Marvel goes to a satellite orbiting the sun, enters it as it shoots a laser towards the Baxter Building, then converts herself into a laser of gamma-ray, and strikes the Baxter Building, destroying Annihilus' force field, sending Annihilus most likely to the Negative Zone, and allowing the Fantastic Four to return to Earth. Franklin Richards is injured in the explosion. Also, the Vision is still unconscious.
