Letters Column: Avengers Assemble!

The giant Balor has unwittingly transported She-Hulk and Thor back to 20th century earth. They see Bres there, and a fight ensues. She-Hulk is able to defeat him by figuring out his impotence against iron and throwing Iron Man at him. Back in Avalon, Balor takes Amergin's magical artifact, and it destroys him. Amergin is fatally wounded in the explosion. He explains to the Black Knight that Balor's energy is stored in the magic eye, and it will soon explode and destroy Avalon. The Black Knight takes the eye and uses it to destroy the Fomor, though his body dies in the process. Dr. Druid returns the Avengers to the present day. The Black Knight is also returned, in his original body. Amergin must have used his last bit of power to perform this act of restoring the Black Knight to his original body.
