Letters Column: Avengers Assemble!
The Wasp crashes into Avengers Mansion. She explains how a robot broke into Hank's lab and stole some chemicals, and she shrunk down just as she was about to blast her. Iron Man deduces that it is the work of Ultron, who has also stolen some adamantium resins from Stark Enterprises, he believes to create an indestructible army. The Avengers decide that protecting the Scarlet Witch is the top priority, since she defeated Ultron before, so he will most likely try to eliminate her first, as his biggest threat. Iron Man makes a tape recording and paper where he says that he thinks Ultron has hypnotized him as Tony Stark, not knowing he is Iron Man, causing Stark to reactive Ultron after his last defeat. Iron Man is afraid that he'll betray the Avengers, so he plants a tracking device in his armor, and leaves instructions with Jarvis for Thor to use this tracking device to track and destroy him, if necessary. Iron Man, under Ultron's control, then fries Jocasta's circuits. He then tricks the Vision into leaving his bedroom, and kidnaps the Scarlet Witch, taking her to Ultron, burning the letter he gave to Jarvis as he leaves. Thor arrives. Jarvis had made a copy of the letter, without looking at it, so he give this to Thor. Thor is able to retrieve the tracking device which Iron Man created, then sealed in a vault. The Avengers take off after Ultron. They find Ultron, with Iron Man and an unconscious Wanda. A battle ensues, and the Avengers are unable to hurt Ultron and his indestructible adamantium body. However, they then use teamwork to trick Ultron into getting pushed into a vault of molten adamantium, which he was using to create his army. The adamantium hardens, and Ultron is trapped inside.
