The Korvac Saga
Synopsis:
Continuation of Korvac story. The Avengers get back to Avengers Mansion, only to find the alarm going off, and Henry Gyrich, special agent of the National Security Council, sitting in their meting room, waiting for them. He is angry that they are so lax in security (A giant hole has been left in Avenger Mansion after the fight with Count Nefaria) and threatens to revoke their A-1 security clearance. After he leaves, Captain America and Iron Man fight over Iron Man's recent leadership, broken up by Wanda. Hawkeye and the Two-Gun Kid are on a train out West headed for New York, when the Two-Gun Kid disappears into thin air. Meanwhile, in a New York suburban house, Starhawk of the Guardian of the Galaxy finds Korvac. They battle on the astral plane, and Korvac destroys Starhawk. He then reconstitutes him, and sends him back to the Guardians (who are secretly body guarding the young Vance Astro) ignorant of his previous battle, and ignorant of the location of Korvac. Korvac brought Starhawk back in order to allay suspision as to his presence. Korvac is living with the model he left with in the previous issue.
