Synopsis:
A giant space satellite is detected in earth orbit, right next to a SHIELD satellite. The Avengers get inside it, to discover that it belongs to the Guardians of the Galaxy, an earth based group from 1,000 years in the future. They explain that they've entered the 20th century because Korvac, a 30th century villain, has entered this time in order to kill Vance Astro, the leader of the Guardians, so that the Guardians will never come into being. Vance is a young boy at this time. Korvac appears at Jan's modeling show, and literally disappears with one of the models, unnoticed by everyone else, due to the commotion over an attempted robbery by the Porcupine.
