Letters Column: The Spider's Web

Professor Warren recounts the origin of the Jackal to Spider-Man, when he unveils his final plan. Binding Ned Leeds to a bomb, the Jackal introduces a clone of Spider-Man and reveals that the bomb can only be disarmed by the real Spider-Man, causing the real Spider-Man and the clone to battle. Racked with guilt, Professor Warren sacrifices himself to stop the bomb at the last minute, seemingly killing himself and the clone. Peter, however, is unsure as to whether he is the original Spider-Man or the clone.
