Synopsis:
Continues Attuma story, from Super-Villain Team-Up #9. The Avengers have just lost a battle with Dr Doom aboard the floating island which Doom has borrowed from Namor. Beast recruits Whizzer and Wonder Man to rescue the Avengers. The Avengers, captives of Doom, use teamwork to free the Vision. To everyone’s surprise, Vision leaves without freeing the others. Beast, Whizzer, and Wonder Man arrive at the US sea-lab just as Attuma has attacked it and taken a scientific instrument he plans to use as a weapon. Namor arrives and Attuma tricks him into thinking the Avengers are with him. Namor battles the Avengers while Attuma escapes with the weapon . The Beast follows him, while Wonder Man & the Whizzer finally convince Namor that they're all on the same side.
