While working on his newest identity as Agent Nine to fight crime without the public stigma of being Spider-Man, Peter teams up with Wolverine to capture the Vulture. The Vulture was grabbing mob money from both Torino and Kingpin crime mobs, but Spidey deduced that the Vulture was working for Berto Torino so the Kingpin would not suspect the Torinos of disrupting his cash flow.
