Synopsis: The Order of Purity is going over documents of Micheal Lane. They discuss why he is the best chosen candidate for the position of Azrael. A bat-signal goes up with the abbreviations R.I.P. A member of the order asks him to join. Once he is enlisted Talia and her hit-men try and take him out. Talia stabs him with the Sword of Salvation.
Synopsis: The fight picks up with Azrael laying on the floor talking out of context. Jumping back in to the fight scene Talia formally introduces herself and ask about the curse. She leaves Azrael with the suit and the swords. Lane wants to know the truth about the suit so the Order tells him and he returns to the cave where the suit was originally stolen only to find Nightwing.
Synopsis: Azrael Vs Nightwing ends once Azrael is able to explain himself to Nightwing and how it is planned to be used. Oracle comes on screen as the fight ends and shows them a picture of Batman's "ghost." Lane realizes that its his old Batman costume and he goes after it only before leaving Nightwing zaps him and injects him with a serum. Nightwing convinces Talia to give him the suit plus both swords. Unbeknownst to Azrael Ras al Ghul has sent the White Ghost to place Azrael under surveillance.
Synopsis: A priest is killed with a single stab wound to the heart. Batman and Robin follow up on some ties to the name and wait for the killer to strike again. Dick and Damian go undercover as a driver and the ten year old boy he was trying to kidnap. Amon takes the bait and everything is going to plan, that is until Azrael shows up. Azrael blows up the car separating them from one another, leaving a disguised Damian in Amon's hands.
Synopsis: Batman picks up the Question while she is surrounded. He takes her to the Bat-Bunker and informs her of what has happened and figured out they are underground. The ceremony begins with Robin escaping and running in to Azrael. Azrael and Robin help the children escape while Batman and the Question save the last child that was kidnapped.
