In addition to two fan letters, this month's Spider-Mail page reprints an article from The Wichita Eagle headlined "Be Merciful, Famed Spider-Man, For We Knew Not What We Did" that responds to reader outrage over the paper's dropping the Spider-Man comic strip. Below the article is reprinted what appears to be a specially produced comic strip dated 11/19/77 where Spider-Man tells Eagle readers he'll be returning to the paper's pages on Monday.
