Synopsis:
Captain Picard continues to unravel the mysteries of the Juulet while trying to rescue his captive crewman. In the sickbay Beverly and Deanna are making some progress with Uul when a visit from Speaker Kejaal silences him. After Riker and Geordi return from a fact-finding mission the Enterprise is attacked.

This story directly follows the events of the previous issue and takes place during the fourth season of Star trek: The Next Generation between the episodes Qpid and The Drumhead.
