Synopsis:
Carl "Crusher" Creel (aka The Absorbing Man) is drunk and heads to Avengers Tower to retrieve his ball-and-chain. No one is home, but the three team Liaisons and Jarvis, the butler. Armed with only handguns and spy-skills the three women have to take down the super-powered, angry, and intoxicated Creel alone.

Winter Guard (Marvel)

Synopsis:
The Blue Marvel converses with Uatu, the Watcher, about the world's current state of affairs. The Marvel's monitors alert him to Hyperion causing trouble in Eastern Europe. Hyperion has come from another dimension to conquer Earth, and the Blue Marvel finds the motivation to win when he realizes he must show the common people what a real hero is.

Synopsis:
The Taskmaster eats dinner in a diner in Tokyo. Surrounded by armed men, he is unfazed. One of the men informs Taskmaster that there is a price on his head for allegedly betraying the Supervillain community. Taskmaster uses his superhuman fighting skills to get out of the diner. He walks off without his costume and weapons.

Great Lakes Avengers

Synopsis:
Squirrel Girl of the Great Lakes Avengers has just returned to headquarters after a successful battle with Fin Fang Foom. The rest of the team discusses some of her past victories over mighty foes and laments the fact that they would "just get in the way". Squirrel Girl decides to take her pet squirrel and move on to give the team a chance to shine out of her shadow.
