The League gets involved in a skirmish between the Rocket Red Brigade and a man wearing a stolen #7 Rocket suit. After the battle is over, they contact Max Lord and ask what he wants. Max himself has discovered that whomever he kills gets transformed into a "dead" Black Lantern.
