Marvel Team-Up (1972) #3

Reprinted/Collected in:
Essential Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man (2005) TPB vol. 01
Ihmesarja (2002) #11

This issue, which serves as the establishing prologue in the Cry Morbius story arc, features only a partial reprint of MARVEL TEAM-UP #3 (July 1972), with the final page being original to this issue (provided by Goodwin, Buscema and Esposito). The 16 pages reprinted from the original 21-page story are 4 and 5 (both completely rewritten and re-lettered, with art touched up to remove indications of grogginess around Spidey's head), 8, 9 (with caption re-lettered to read "MARVEL TREASURY 14 --Arch" over the original "SPIDER-MAN 101 & 102 --Stan"), 10-21. The deleted pages are a three-page prologue showing Jefferson and Jacob Bolt arguing, with Jefferson later being attacked by Morbius; and two pages that showed Spidey tumbling from the building, cutting to the Baxter Building where Ben and Johnny are watching ALL IN THE FAMILY when Morbius' fiancee Martine arrives seeking the Fantastic Four's help.
