Synopsis:
Infectia stares into a telescope and dreams of Iceman handing over the X-Factor's sentient ship to her. On the ship, the X-Terminators play a game of "volly bomb" with Boom Boom's time bombs. Iceman swings at the bomb and before it goes off, Cyclops and Marvel Girl walk out on the deck and see what they are playing with and send it off before it blows up. They tell the team that they are leaving. The ship prepares a ship for them to leave on and they fly off. Iceman says that he hopes they find Cyclops' son now that he knows he is alive and that is what they intend to do as they fly off.

Beast and Iceman go into Manhattan and as they land they are swarmed by reporters asking more questions about what X-Factor is all about. Iceman starts to field the questions as Beast is unprepared since Trish Tilby is not in town. Infectia listens to their broadcast on the radio and finds that they are headed to the Hard Rock Cafe in New York. At the bar, Iceman answers more questions and Beast decides to step outside and goes out a window.

Down on the street below, a police officer sees Iceman on the TV screen answering the reporters and he starts to get angry. Infectia walks up and asks him why he is so angry and what he would do to them if he had the power to do something. She starts to make a move on him and then kisses him in the alleyway and he transforms into an ugly mutant monster. She tells him to go after Iceman and he obeys.

Meanwhile, Cyclops and Marvel Girl fly over Dallas TX and Freedom Force waits for them below. Destiny knows they are flying in and says they will be there soon. In Nebraska, Nanny flies onto a rooftop and gets out and sings, "We're here...".

At the Hard Rock Cafe, Infectia and her mutant policeman crash the party. Infectia runs up to Iceman for protection from the policeman and Iceman mistakes him for one of the Anti-Bodies that attacked the ship a while ago. He tries to freeze the officer and this only makes him more mad. He grows bigger and bigger and then he finally explodes. Infectia and the reporters praise Iceman and Beast thinks that something is wrong with what just happened and Iceman ignores him. Eslewhere, Archangel apparently has broken into Worthington Enterprises and is searching for the missing Candy Southern and he seems to have killed a few guards while looking for more clues.

In Dallas, Cyclops and Jean meet with Freedom Force and asks where Nathan Summers, Cyclops' son is at. In Manhattan, Iceman takes Infectia on the town and then calls a cab to take them back to where they can go back to the ship. Infectia says that she just found out she is a mutant and she needs to be trained in how to use her powers. Beast thinks all this is wrong and Iceman continues to ignore him. They get in the plane and fly back to the ship. The X-Terminators and even the ship are not liking this new addition and they start to announce this to eachother. Iceman takes Infectia to look around the ship and while on a balcony she reaches to him to kiss him.
