Iron Man visits the troops in Vietnam to check on a new Stark designed laser-guided artillery cannon. As Major Stargrom describes its use, he's shot and killed by enemy combatants. A battle ensues and the cannon is destroyed. Iron Man's armor is damaged and he's separated from camp. When he returns the soldiers are dead and a blind child attacks him. He brings the child home to find his village destroyed and everyone there dead as well, so Iron Man destroys the remains of any weapons he can find and carves the word 'WHY' in the ground.
