Synopsis:
Having blasted the Autobots to scrap, Shockwave now goes about the business of repairing the damaged Decepticons. While monitering Earth's television channels, he happens across a report on a new type of oil drilling platform capable of extracting far more oil from the ground that any other operation. Set on acquiring this technology, Shockwave attacks the platform while the other Decepticons recover.

Ratchet returns to the hospital to find Buster waiting for him. "Sparkplug" has recovered, but all of Ratchet's attempts to contact the Ark have failed. He and Buster move to investigate. When they discover Decepticons have taken over the Ark, Buster volunteers to infiltrate and makes a horrific discovery: the Autobots within are all dead, save for the decapitated head of Optimus Prime...
