Synopsis:
The presence of a new planet in Earth's system populated by nearly one hundred thousand Kryptonians has gotten the attention of the Guardians of Oa. The Green Lanterns of sector 2814 have been dispatched on a fact-finding mission to learn more about New Krypton, and Ion has been sent with them, in case the situation becomes hostile.
All goes smoothly, until both the Lanterns and Kal hear Zod order his second in command to execute escaped prisoner Val-Ty. Kal orders her to disregard the Generals order, and to bring him in alive. But crossing Zod isn't something that even Kal-El can do without risk.
