New Krypton

Kal-El has been placed in New Krypton's Military Guild. Now, placed in command of the Red Shard Tactical Response unit, he helps to train New Krypton's soldiers in the use of their new powers. While this position helps him keep a closer eye on General Zod, it also means that Zod is keeping an eye on him, especially when Non is transferred to his unit.

In their first mission, attemting to stop a herd of rampaging beasts from destroying vital terraforming equipment, the performance of Kal's squad garners praise. But their next mission will test Kal-El. Some among the Labor Guild, seeking equality with the other Guilds of New Krypton have seized hostages. Kal believes in their grievance, but may have to take decisive action against them.
