Synopsis:
In the future, four of the world’s six remaining mutants: Diamondheart (Emma Frost) Anole, Graymalkin, and Wolverine defend themselves against Sentinels before returning to their island home of Xaviera. In the present, Dust collapses during a training exercise and is taken to the other X-Men for evaluation. As Beast reluctantly reveals Dust’s condition, she makes her way to the brig to take Pierce up on his offer. The two are confronted by the X-Men, before they escape, but Dust has a change of heart and helps them against Pierce. The young X-Men hear of the escape and rush to the scene arriving just in time to witness Dust’s death. In the future, Wolverine is attacked and killed by someone he seems to know.
