Synopsis:
A troubled teenager turns his back on his family, his girlfriend and the law, but comes to realize that he needs all of them and more in order to truly live.
Notes:
The title is a play on main character Jeff Cole's running away from home and from God, drawing on the Francis Thompson poem "The Hound of Heaven," which is a recurring element in the story. This comic contains 31 pages of story, with page 32 featuring a Hartley-illustrated Billy Graham providing the reader the plan of salvation through Jesus Christ (this page also has a coupon to clip and mail to Billy Graham to request further information on living a new life with Christ). The inside cover is a striking advertisement for the 1973 film TIME TO RUN. The inside back cover is an advertisement for several of the books that were adapted into Spire Comics, with the back cover the usual collage of covers from the Spire Comics line.
