Issue Tagline: Chuck Colson Born Again

Format: Color; Standard Comic Issue; 32 pages

Story Arc(s):    Add/remove story arcs to this issue

Al Hartley adapts Chuck Colson's 1976 autobiography BORN AGAIN, which book tells of Colson's work for the Nixon Administration, his conversion to Christianity, his imprisonment for a Watergate-related offense and his subsequent founding of Prison Fellowship, a ministry to prisoners that continues today.

This comic contains a full 32 pages of Al Hartley artwork, among the best he produced for Spire. The inside cover is an advertisemnt for the Spire Books paperback edition of BORN AGAIN. The inside back cover features a Hartley illustrated and hand-lettered description of Prison Fellowship's work with a coupon to request more information. The comic's cover has a blurb announcing this story is "now a major motion picture!" The 1978 film adaptation starred Disney regular Dean Jones as Chuck Colson. Also in the cast were Anne Francis, Dana Andrews, Raymond St. Jacques and Billy Graham as himself.

NOTE: There is a possible variant edition of this comic book. Some later Spire Comics advertise this regularly priced comic in addition to a higher priced "Movie Edition."
