Story Arc(s):    Add/remove story arcs to this issue

As Cipher and Ink make their way to the others, the young X-Men try and hold their own against overwhelming odds. Upon arrival, Ink finds his tattoo artist Leon Nunez, who reveals that he is the mutant that gave him his powers and also behind the super powered gang members. Ink forces Nunez to give him more tattoos under threat and then proceeds to help his teammates. He arrives just in time to save them, utilizing a Phoenix tattoo to remove the gang member’s abilities. After returning to San Francisco, Dani and Sunspot brief Cyclops on the mission. Giving Ink the Phoenix tattoo caused Nunez to go into a coma for reaching his upper limits. He’s been transferred to the infirmary and Ink is given an okay to stay with the X-Men, mutant or not.
