The FBI tangled with an alien who'd crashed into an abandoned building in Gotham City (the second such incident in a month's time). The alien got the best of them, leaving both agents comatose. Batman located the jeweler who was set to rebuild Philo Zeiss's goggles and got him off the job. Bruce Wayne visited Mallory Moxon and her father at the hospital. As he was leaving, the two FBI agents were being brought in. Batman scoped out the scene where the agents were found and contacted Commissioner Akins about it. Later, he shook down Penguin about his connection to Zeiss. A priest found the alien and took him in.
