Notes: Reprints Adventure Comics #253
This tiny little story--both parts totaled only 12 pages--is of fairly large significance. Although DC celebrates Barry Allen as the "discoverer" of the multiverse, in fact this story predates the Flash's adventures on an alternate Earth by three full years. The Flash #123 had a cover date of September, 1961, while part one of this story, "Mystery of the Giant Arrows", appears first in September, 1958.
