Synopsis:
Murderer Carl Talbot escapes across the Mexican border and comes upon an Aztec village, where he is helped by Tlaxcan, who is the Ayar, or chief priest, of the village. After witnessing a healing performed by the Aztec gods, Carl demands that Tlaxcan get the gods to give him a new face. Tlaxcan agrees only when Carl shoots a boy in the leg, but the gods, while willing to give Carl a new face, have their own ideas about justice...

Synopsis:
Stella Stafford wants to marry the wealthy, elderly Lord Ringling in order to inherit his fortune. She just has trouble getting past his love for birds, which she despises. After they are married, he puts her in charge of his aviary, because she has been faking a love for birds. When Ringling catches Stella attacking the birds, he writes a new will, but she lures him off a cliff in his wheelchair by faking parrot calls. Stella then falls in love with a young man named Tony who takes her to Capistrano for a honeymoon. He assures her that it's the wrong season for the birds to show up...
