Synopsis:
Invincible has been beaten into a bloody pulp by his father and is now being transported out of the mountains where he was left for dead. Unfortunately for Mark, the whole event was broadcast on television, so the entire world knows that Omni-Man, his father, killed the Guardians of the Globe.

After two weeks, Mark wakes up from his coma and the Pentagon attempts to clean things up. They've patched up Mark, secured his family financially and have chosen him as the new government sanctioned defender.

Meanwhile, in outer space, Allen has come to warn Mark that a Viltrumite is among them. But he's a little late.
