After the tragic death of his wife, a widowed father has only his young son left in this world - It's a bond that can never be shattered. But what if your son isn't really the boy you thought he was..? In a parallel story, a lonely carpenter named Gepetto creates an amazing puppet that will change his life. And when the puppet begins to walk and talk, Gepetto thinks that a miracle has occurred. But the excited carpenter will soon learn that certain things were never meant to come to life.

Two lives mirror one another in part 1 of what might be the most intense and heart-wrenching Grimm Fairy Tales to ever hit shelves!
