Synopsis: A synopsis of this tale is relatively difficult, given that the story doesn't take itself too seriously. In fact, it's a deliberate parody of a group that is itself a kind of walking parody. Given that the book was released on April Fool's Day, that, of course, makes sense. But suffice it to say, there's a problem, the Subs are the only ones left behind to take care of it, and they do it--with Stone Boy playing an unexpectedly critical role.As you might expect from the cover, expect the Fourth Wall to be broken quite a bit with this story. At one point Paul Levitz himself appears, simply demanding that the plot advances. It's just a fun, nonsensical issue. Don't try to make sense of it; just go with the least-respected members of the DCU for a wacky li'l trip.
Notes: Tonally, this issue shares a lot in common with the 21st century JLA Classified arc, "I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League".
