Synopsis:
The Guardians tell Hal Jordan that the only way to defeat Appa Ali Apsa is for John Stewart to gain control of the mind link between them. Once he succeeds, he causes the renegade Guardian to experience complete solitude, causing him to collapse and die.
Later, the Guardians announce they plan to re-establish the Green Lantern Corps.
The Mosaic cities are temporarily stranded because Oa, due to Appa Ali Apsa, does not have enough energy to return them to their home planets.
