Synopsis: Venus thinks Mr. Hammond's mind is too much on work, so she seeks out an Olympian to make him jealous. Mars is too pugilistic and Bacchus too drunk, so she selects Sampson. Hammond laughs at his hair and beard, so Della gets him a haircut, with predictable results.
Synopsis: Lloyd ties some leaves to a branch near his window to extend summer for a few days in his mind. Sylvia sees a miracle in that oak leaves are growing from a maple tree. He thinks she'll think he's a "sissy" if he tells her the truth, so she tells him she is going to the press. He is humiliated and gets caught by the police trying to remove the leaves. She investigates the branch before going to the press and realizes that they are tied on. Lloyd finally admits that he did it, but thought she would think him "childish or poetic or something." She loves it.
