Grayven says he wants to imitate his father Darkseid by squashing every planet he encounters. He hopes to use a Zeta beam while on Rann to take him to Apokolips.

Grayven sends Ranagar hurtling toward the planet. John Stewart fires a Zeta Beam at Grayven, and he vanishes. With their leader gone, the armada departs.

Kyle saves Ranagar from crashing.

Ferrin Colos disbands the Darkstars, and the remaining Darkstars agree to help Adam Strange rebuild Rann.
