No doubt about it, life has turned upside down for tiny Digiko. One day she's the pampered princess on a faraway planet. And the next day she's working for minimum wage at a hobby shop in Japan. Years from now she'll be crowned queen of planet Di Gi Charat. But for now, the green-haired moppet must punch a timecard and live on a diet of rice balls and natto.
And to complicate matters even further, the Dark Gema Gema Gang has come to town. Let by an 8-year-old little girl named Piyoko, this group of evil goofballs has sworn to drive Digiko to distraction. There's only one problem. Digiko and her quarrelsome pals are already too busy fighting themselves to even notice.
