Synopsis:
Contains the prologue and first two chapters of Byrne's seminal redefinition of the Superman mythos and serves as a starting point for the character post-CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS.
Notes:
The descriptions of Krypton in this issue have almost all been wholly repudiated by later comics. In a real sense, this is best viewed as a dream or a Hypertime excursion, according to 2005 DCU continuity.
