Synopsis:
Raised by machines aboard a space ship and never knowing any of her own kind, Brittis takes on a humanoid form and decides upon Adam Strange as her husband. Using the legend of the Lorelei, she seems to have Adam under a spell, discarding an engagement ring and everything! Although on Rann it is normal for a woman to give a man an engagement ring, Alanna recalls that she has not yet done so, and discovers that he is playing along with Brittis until he can think of away to stop her form having her ship attack Rann. Ultimately, she is convinced that she can't force love, Alanna tries to help her reform and gives Adam a real engagement ring.
