A Peculiar Issue

Postby geek4x4 » Sat Dec 10, 2005 4:24 pm

I don't know if there's something already in the system to handle this so I thought I'd ask.

Runes of Ragnan #1 was published by Silent Devil issues 2-4 will be published by Image Comics. Should it be done as a new series? or just change the individual issues to the new publisher, while leaving the title publisher the same? Neither one seems quite the tight option to me, so I thought I'd ask.

The convention for titles that have changed publishers or imprints is to list the most recent publisher/imprint in the title and then list the publisher/imprint at the time for the issue.

So for instance with Transmetropolitan, the title is listed as DC/Vertigo but the first issues are listed as DC/Helix. Later in the run do the issues change to Vertigo.
